The green smoothie is perhaps one of the most important parts of our diet. It supplies us with much needed nutrients, minerals and trace minerals that come from the best food source possible for us: plants.
I have gone through the time and expense of reviewing several different brands for you, but I also ecourage you to do your own taste test by buying the small sample packs whenever available.
I generally mix these with water first to get the actual taste of the product. If that taste is intolerable, then I try mixing it with something like apple juice.
The first review is for Garden of Life's Perfect Food, Super Green Formula. It has a long list of ingredients but it pretty much tastes like manure...and smells like manure too. I'm not kidding you. I definitely was not able to drink this without juice, and even with juice it was pretty difficult for me to drink. Now your taste buds could be radically different than mine but this is just my opinion. By the way, if you're ever in the Hollywood area, you can save your money and stop by and pick one up for free if you want one. I have only used up one tea spoon of it :-)
Next is Macro Green's Miracle Greens Superfood Supplement and this one actually tastes pretty good even with water and this one is becoming one of my favorite. Also available in little packs great for traveling.
The same company also makes Miracle Reds with Goji, pomegranate, Acai, and Mangosteen, and that tastes pretty good too. Available in little packs as well. Recommended.
The Amazing Grass Green Superfood was tolerable with water and much better with apple juice.

Green Vibrance does not have much of a taste of anything and is easy to drink with just water, but again I would prefer it with apple juice. Founded in 1992 and packed with certified organic greens and wild-crafted herbs this formula supports nutrition, digestion, circulation, and immunity.
